The Lehigh Valley Men’s Baseball League crowned three champions on Sunday.
The Hurricanes captured the 43 National Division over their season-long nemesis, the defending champion Springtown Mudcats. It’s the eighth championship for Coach Steve Smull’s Hurricanes organization.
The Royals swept the Bethlehem Cyclones in the 25 American Division to win their first championship in the team’s eight-year history. Coach Doug Brill’s squad came from behind in the final inning to capture the title.
Bushkill earned its first championship with a sweep of the Kings to win the 18 American Division. It was a remarkable coaching job by Adam Recker, whose merger of two teams worked to perfection.
