The third annual charity game is Saturday, August 26, at Tuskes. Registration is open.

Play ball and join the party!

The annual Charity Game is one of the best events on the Lehigh Valley Men's Baseball League Calendar. All you do is play ball, then walk right into the Upper Nazareth Township Community Days festival to enjoy food, beer, and friends. It's a great day.

Registration is $20, and 100 percent of proceeds go to Upper Nazareth Township Recreation. Upper Nazareth Township Recreation provides recreation opportunities for kids and kids at heart, including us. It provides the LV MSBL use of Tuskes Community Park, where more LV MSBL games are played than any other facility.

Besides that, it's just fun. The Community Days grow every year, and there is perhaps no better day to invite some of your family and friends out to one of your games because there are attractions for everyone.

The game is at 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, at Tuskes. Please consider registering and urging your teammates to register for this one-of-a-kind day of baseball and fun. You can click on the fall registration banner at and select the charity game.

Again, you just play ball and go to a party. What could be better?
